Hi please help. The installation has gone fine but appears stuck on "Installing Database Scripts". The text box below it shows "Installing Database - Version 05.00.00..." but has gone further in 15min. Is this normal? I looked at the database & see no tables other than the system tables. Help .. :-)

script should finish within a few seconds, max 2 minutes.
if not, please check permissions of the account used. Which type of connection do you use, how does your connection string in web.config look like (w/o publishing user name or password please).

Cheers from Germany,
Sebastian Leupold

Thanks for helping. The AppPool is running under the Network Services account & has Full permissions throught the website The ID in the ConnectionStrings has dbo permissions to the database. A 'test' odbc connection to the database works fine with the ConnectionSting credentials.  Again, HUGE THANKS for our help!!!

<connectionStrings><add name="SiteSqlServer" connectionString="Data Source=zvmspdevs05;Initial Catalog=DotNetNuke;User ID=;Password=" providerName="System.Data.SqlClient" />
</connectionStrings>

<appSettings>
<add key="SiteSqlServer" value="Data Source=zvmspdevs05;Initial Catalog=;User ID=;Password=" />
