Hello DNN Forum Members,

I am trying to deploy DNN 6.0 to Azure. what i have done is as follows:

1) I've downloaded the latest "New Install" zip file and extracted it.

It is a webSite project and if i hit F5 it works fine, but i need a precompiled project in order to deploy to azure,
using Azure Project with WebRole enabled, is that true?

2) I thought i should  go that way and i have created an Azure Project with WebRole enabled. i have deleted all the default files
in the web project and copy pasted all the code and directories from the "Web Site" to "Web Application Project". It pasted
everything successfully.

3) I tried to compile the Web Application Project but i got following errors:

Error 2 Partial declarations of 'DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.Users.ViewProfile' must not specify different base classes
\DNN_WebProject\admin\Users\ViewProfile.ascx.cs 38 26 DNN_WebProject

Error 3 The type 'DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.Authentication.Login' already contains a definition for 'UseCaptcha' \DNN_WebProject

\DesktopModules\AuthenticationServices\DNN\Login.ascx.cs 65 18 DNN_WebProject

I tried to fix those by changing the namespace of DesktopModules\Admin\Authentication\Login.ascx.cs file
from
namespace DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.Authentication
to
namespace DotNetNuke.DesktopModules.Admin.Authentication

and the errors gone. But when i tried to compile i have encountered another error which i could not fix it.

In short: I have class A which can "see" or use more then 20 namespaces, and i have class B which is in the same project but in different

directory it san only use 2 namespaces. That's why it cannot find a namespace and breaks the compile.

Below are the details of class A and B namespace issue. Can somebody help me about it?

In the following file:
DesktopModules\AuthenticationServices\DNN\Settings.ascx.cs

I write "using DotNetNuke.Services." then i can see only two namespaces: Exceptions, Install

When i go to another file in the solution, for instance
DesktopModules\Admin\Extensions\Editors\AuthenticationEditor.ascx.cs

I write the same thing "using DotNetNuke.Services." and i can see 26 namespaces!

My first file does not compile because it cannot find "DotNetNuke.Services.Authentication" namespace.

How can i fix this?

THANKS IN ADVANCE!

Regards,
Alen Malhasoglu
