Why the installation is shipped with non-recent version of DotNetNuke.Web.DDRMenu.dll?
I just downloaded the install package and see that the version is 01.99.00.05.

The TemplateArguments that passed to the Token-based or XSLT-based menu don't work.
But if I build this assembly from sources (revision 68791 associated with Release: 02.00.00 - Jul 18 at 1:17 PM), everything work fine.

DotNetNuke 6 ships with the 1.99.05 version of DDRMenu because that was the current version of DDRMenu that was tested with DotNetNuke 6 at the time we locked down the release.  The final DDRMenu release was built 2 days before our RTM which is well past the cutoff date for making these sorts of changes.  Like all software, there is a period of time where everything is locked down and no changes are made without very good reason, as any little change requires a new round of testing which jeopardizes the release date.  As we have grown over the years we have gotten more formal in our processes so that we can ensure a quality release.  A release will never be perfect (if there was such a thing, there would be no reason to have bug tracking software), so the best we can hope for is a release that is stable with no showstopping defects.  Everything else will be dealt with in the normal course of maintenance releases.
