(for give me if this has already been answered . . .I've tried searching the forums, but I get a 403 error. . . what up wit dat???)

What type of application pool should I run v6 under in a shared host environment?

I've tried 4.0 integrated, but it crashes when modifying a module.

(Btw the web.config needs to compilers element needs to be changed for running under 4.0, correct?)

It seems to run under 2.0 integrated out of the box. .  does the razor module work under 2.0?

It seems this topic is undeaddressed in any of the documentation, so any help/guidancewould be appreciated.

thanks!

bas

You don't need to modify the web.config when changing to 4.0, not in my experience. You also should be able to run in it in 4.0 integrated.

If you're using anything like website panel for your management, you might need to see if the web.config was modified/removed, like system.web>handlers

there are some 3rd party modules, which require using classic mode, but I'd try running integrated first, which provides much better performance.
