This is not an installation problem, but since there is no category under Using DotNetNuke that is relevant to this problem, I'll have to post it here...

My users don't get any error messages if they try to register and give a non-conforming password. For example, if they use a 5 letter password and I require 6.

This also happens on your own web site, so it doesn't seem to be a configuration problem, it's a huge flaw in DotNetNuke itself!

There have been other threads about this and IIRC it will be fixed in the next release.

I'm looking for the other threads. I just found my a huge client just went crazy on me. Their users are not getting errors during registration.

Such huge defects like this should be communicated out via a weekly email or something. Or in Release Notes I can find easily.

FYI, this has been sorted in DNN 6.2 although the error message is too vague and will need to be edited. Someone did post up some code as a temporary measure in one of the other threads, I will post it up if I find it again.
