Newly installed DNN 6.1.2. When I try to create a new portal, the portal is listed, and there is a record in the portal table. But there is no record in the portalalias table.

I can get into site settings and when I try to add a portalalias there, it doesn't work either.

No errors show in the Event Viewer.

I went so far as to add a record to portalalias manually, but that still didn't allow me to navigate to the site.

what's going on?

This issue continues. I've created and deleted a site about four times and each time the portal record is created, but nothing appears in the portalalias table.

Any ideas?

Thanks -

Really nothing? No one else has seen this? Everything else on the site seems to work fine, but you have to have a portalalias to have a working portal. It's on shared hosting, but I'll see if I can get to sql logs somehow ...
