I tried setting up a DNN site using the Starter Kit for DNN 4.3.0. I noticed that when I started the installation (CTRL-F5), that it said version 4.0.3, but during installation it showed upgrading to DNN 4.3.0. After the site was installed (which was successful), I found that I cannot do a Build on the site in Visual Studio 2005. I get the following error:

File 'Forum_Attachment.aspx.vb' was not found.

Can anyone provide any insight as to why this might be happening? Thanks.

I had the same problem. I got the same kind of error for the store module aswell. Did you got an error message on that module aswell?

In the meantime i just deleted these modules from the install directory so they will not be installed. This solves the matter until a real solution comes at hand.

The actual error I see is Error 1 Could not load type 'DotNetNuke.Modules.Forum.AttachmentPage'. c:\inetpub\wwwroot\dnn43\DesktopModules\Forum\Forum_Attachment.aspx 2 

But I have not found any problems using the attachment upload in the posts.

That one actually came up first, then I tried a complete rebuild and got the other. I had no problem with the Store module at all. In fact, I can access the site outside of Visual Studio just fine, and everything seems to work ok. The only problem I am having is compiling it to run it in Visual Studio.

I too am having this same problem, as well as an issue with the Store module.  As suggested, I deleted them from the solution and it builds ok.

I am eager to hear of the solution to this issue.
