Is there any way to setup a web.config file with a SQL connection string before deploying DotNetNuke? Setup wizards like DotNetNuke uses won't work on my hosting service. My hoster has an "auto-wiring" feature where it reads the web.config file for .NET apps and then automatically modifies all the SQL connection strings to have all the appropriate SQL authentication information.

 Is there any way I can create/modify a web.config file for DotNetNuke prior to pushing it to my hosting service?

To give an example, here is a SQL connection string in the web.config file of another .NET app that I look for:

<add key="testappDbDSN" value="server=.\SQLEXPRESS;database=DATABASE;user id=USER;password=PASS" />

I modify this string to this for it to work on my hosting service:

<add key="testappDbDSN" value="{mssql-2008#testb01}" />

Is there a way to do this in DotNetNuke?

You can simply open up the web.config file when you download/extract the Install package for DotNetNuke.

There are actually two connection strings to modify in there (4 if you miss the fact that 2 are actually commented out)
