Hello.

 

I install dnn on my comp. I create base with name dnnbase. 

I select next data:

server name: DIMA-PC\SQLEXPRESS

filename: dnnbase.mdf

But show error:

Connection Error(s):
Index #: 0
Source: .Net SqlClient Data Provider
Class: 14
Number: 15350
Message:

How solve this problem?

 Its connection string in web config file:

<add name="SiteSqlServer" connectionString="Data Source=.\SQLExpress;Integrated Security=True;User Instance=True;AttachDBFilename=|DataDirectory|dnnbase.mdf;" providerName="System.Data.SqlClient"/>

If you created a database, you would choose the SQL 2005/2008 option, not the express option, for your connection.

yea, i running sql server express 2008.

I select SQL Server 2005/2008 Database and show 2 error:

 Connection Error(s):
Index #: 0
Source: .Net SqlClient Data Provider
Class: 11
Number: 4060
Message: Invalid Database

Index #: 1
Source: .Net SqlClient Data Provider
Class: 14
Number: 18456
Message: Sql login failed
