Hi,

until now there are lots instruction how to install dotnetnuke 4 on Local PC and how to use dotnetnuke.

Now I´m stand against a problem that I cant found an instruction anywhere.

Situation:

I created a forum on local => success. Like this forum. As
Database I use SQLserver2005.
ASP 2.0
DotnetNuke 4
with IIS 5

The Forum run on my Pc (local) no failed.

Now I want to get this Forum onto my Hosting server to public it.
My Hosting is Qualityhosting.de. There they say it run definitve Dotnetnuke 3. I mean DotnetNuke 4 dont have problem with this hosting. Until now I try to install the forum (run on local) on the hosting. But no success.

My question is very short:

How do I public this forum?

Until now I do so:

1) I copied forum and database on server
2) I modify web.config "connectionstring"
3) I try to get in Forum. But no success

errormessages:

Server Error in '/forum' Application.

make sure, you edited both occurences of sql string in your web.config.
