I'm starting to organize an upgrade to our web site, oaklandsymphonychorus.org, from DNN 5.6.3 to DNN 6.2.2.  I've downloaded the 6.2.2 upgrade package.  Is it reasonable to do this in one pass?  On previous upgrades I've been told that I need to do the upgrade in stages.

I've also, on previous upgrades, found a list of upgrade packages - this time the download only shows one upgrade package.  I'd be happy to know that this can be done in a single upgrade pass but I would like to have it confirmed.

In my experience, you should be able to upgrade directly from 5.6.3 to 6.2.2, without any interim upgrade steps.

Though I do always encourage that you back up the website/database prior to any upgrades, and if possible run the upgrade in a test environment first.

You may run into an issue with the z-index on the DnnModule class, that is usually fixed pretty easily in a skin by adding something like .DnnModule{z-index:100;} to your Skin.css or even portal.css files.

Thanks very much for the reassurance, and thanks for the tip about the z-Index (the what?  I'll research it).  I'll make a note of the fix.
