DNN need some special root folder permissions (httpdocs or whatever).

I'm wondering if your web hosting provider has installed .Net 4.5? This is the same error that I received on existing and new installs on localhost of several versions of DNN following my upgrade of Visual Studio 2012 which included the in-place install of .Net 4.5.

Depending on the code access security trust level that is configured on the hosting provider's server, you might have success changing the web.config's trust level from the default "Medium" to "Full" before retrying a fresh install.

Here's a link to my forum post on this issue: http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/F...
