I have it too.

 Windows Server 2008 RC2, SQL Server 2008 Express, ASP.NET 4.0

I`m from Russia, so I thought it may be because of some sort of cyrillic characters somewhere (cause I figured that older vesions of DNN had problems with Unicode), but it is also a brand new installation.

BTW, I also have errors with messaging: viewing "Recieved", "Sent" and trying to send a message results in "undefined" error.

I also get the undefined error message on trying to look at messages on the host account profile.

I have "solved" this issue.

I went to Host -> Host Settings -> Other Settings

Changed "Control Panel" to RibbonBar. Then I can switch to Edit Mode and, well, it worked. I even switched back to ControlBar and still was in Edit Mode and could edit everything.

I can also add modules now.

But if you quit Edit Mode, you should again switch to RibbonBar.

Hope that helps.

But messaging still don`t work. Although, it is not essential for me.

Same  here, I've installed the community and professional version both. The pro version works fine but in the community version I receive a 401 error when attempting to switch into edit mode. Seems like any POST to the internal API is rejected with a 401 error.

I have the same problem on my testing server.
I have to say, you really provided SUCH A BAD PRODUCT that I can not image this is something professional. 1 month ago when I tested the beta version, I already reported such an obvouis BUG.
You never take the communitiy repsponse seriously. Please see your bad performance compared with Joomla or Wordpress. I think it is time for you guys to think about how to release something that THINK OF THE END user instead of yourself!
