Hi,
We're new to DNN (but not to CMSs).
Trying to install for the first time, we follow instructions but always get and error "unable to login to Database".

Our connection string in Web.config is:
<add name="SiteSqlServer" connectionString="Server=.\SQL2008;Database=DotNetNuke7;Integrated Security=SSPI" providerName="System.Data.SqlClient" />

Database exists in the SQL 2008 server (along with other databases, with which we don't have any such problems).
All permissions are set properly, application pool is set properly.
Any help would be apperciated.

did you create a blank database "DotNetNuke7" and granted dbowner permission to windows account used by ASP.Net, as configured in extended settings of your IIS application pool?

Thanks much.
It works now.
It's the first time an actual user is required for Windows integrated access.

Thanks again.
