I have recently installed a brand new instacne of DNN 1.6.5 and catalook and a few other modules.

When I try to click on the login button I get the popup but within the popup I receive the following error;

I am running server 2008 with SQL and IIS. The IIS permissions seem to be fine as well as the database connection. Im running .NET 4 and IIS 7.5 with the default app pool set to classic.

I have tried placing the following line above line 74 to no effect.

<remove name="ScriptModule"/>

I have even tried commenting out the line 74 completely and i get an error about the next line in the web.config file.

Any help would be appreciated.

Here is the web.config file relevant to the error;

please make sure, you installed DNN in the root of your IIS website and there is no web.config file located in a subfolder.
