I have just installed starter kit on my system. i have both vs 2005 and VS 2010.  i have created a new DNN project with VS 2005 and than upgrade it to VS 2010. After that when i have run it showed installation wizard. I supplied required info and left other settings to the default  and  moved to second step and now its just saying installing from last few hours and progress bar is moving but percentage is stuck to 0%.  Unable to understand the reason so  Need your  expert help ASAP Please ?

Try to use just the base install files to set up your DNN site. That, or use the Microsoft web platform installer. That tool does a great job on the installation.

Thank you  all for your guidance. Yes you are right i have successfully configured it using web matrix and IIS Express but  unable to   make it functional via IIS over windows 7  . ON IIS  it intalls successfully and get host access too but can not edit pages or add module when select edit page or add module page get refreshed but doesnot go in edit mode just redirect to home page . I think its some permission issue but not sure . I have used DNN  previous version over IIS without any help but  for DNN7 i dont know where i am doing any mistak.

ONe more question although i m not sure its right place to ask or not.  Can we add DNN  controls in  toolbar of visual studio 2010 for easy access if yes than how .  And is there any standard manual that give the list of custom controls  used or available in DNN 7 for reference.   Thank you for  your guidance
