Hi, I've been trying to install DotNetNuke for a company intranet and I've been having problems getting started.  I'm using XP as a test server before I move it to Windows Server 2003.  I unzip everything into C:\DotNetNuke\ and point the virtual site to C:\DotNetNuke\Website.  My first problem is I don't see the DotNetNuke.vbproj file, I see DotNetNuke.webproj which I renamed (if that's what is supposed to happen I wish they would specify it).  It doesn't really matter too much since when I run http://localhost/DotNetNuke I get this error:

The XML page cannot be displayed

Cannot view XML input using XSL style sheet. Please correct the error and then click the Refresh button, or try again later.

A name was started with an invalid character. Error processing resource 'http://localhost/dotnetnuke/'. Line 1, Position 2

Now I have the 2.0 Framework enabled on my system and IIS is running so I have no idea where to go from here.  Any help would be appreciated.

DNN 4 is for ASP.Net 2 and VS2005 only.

be sure, you added default.aspx as home page for your virtual directory.

I've got Default.aspx as the home page for the virtual directory and I switched over to DNN 3.3 and I'm getting the same error.

Well, the file DotNetNuke.vbproj simply is not present in the latest starter kit (DotNetNuke_04.05.01_StarterKit.vsi/DotNetNuke.zip)


Anybody know if it would be all right simply to copy this file from the previous start kit?
