I have successful to install DotNetNuke_4.3.1_Install.zip on localhost, but when I click the menu "File Manager" got below error

Error: File Manager is currently unavailable

the above error occurred both logged on "admin and host"

Any help ?

 

Windows XP Sp2, .NET 2.0, VWD & SQL Express

Have a look in the Admin->Log Viewer page.  It will contain more information on the error.

Remove the Blowery compression module by deleting the blowery entires out of your web.config and deleting the two ICSharpCode.* dll's and two other blowery dll's (forget what they're called) and it should work again.

If this resolved the problem it confirms that Blowery was the issue. You then have two choices ... (1) Don't use the Blowery compression module or (2) download the ASP.NET 2.0 version of the Blowery module (it only has one dll). This is what I did and I now have compression and the file manager works.
