I'm trying to install DotNetNuke 3.X on Windows Server 2003 using SQL Server 2005 Express.

When I start localhost/dotnetnuke all I get is a configuration error that reads:

Server Error in '/DotNetNuke' Application

Configuration Error

Description:
An error occurred during the processing of a configuration file required to service this request. Please review the specific error details below and modify your configuration file appropriately.

Parser Error Message: An error occurred loading a configuration file.  Access to the path 'C:\DotNetNuke\web.config' is denied

Source Error:

[No relevant source lines]

Any idea what I might have to do to fix this?

Thanks

You need to check permissions. See the installation documentation for this.
