I am experienced with dnn. I am working on an install of dnn 7.0.0.5.

I have the check box in host details selected to allow for remember login.

the remember function simply does not work. I have other instances of dnn that work just fine. this one does not.

Could it be a web config issue?

In the web.config there is a "PersistentCookieTimeout" setting, by default this is set to 0. You need to change that to a value, in minutes, that you want the users cookie to be alive.

Hi,

I am not so experienced with DNN.  I would like to configure the "Remember Me" feature on my DNN 7 website.  I check Host setting box but it doesn't remember me.

Where exactly in the web.config should I be putting the PersistentCookieTimeout setting, as it isn't in there at the moment?

it is there, you just need to use the find function in your edit menu ( i configured this with  and editor that has a find funtion) just type the string in and look for it that way.
