Where in DNN does it determine what page to display when the site starts?

I thought it was Page Management and whatever page had the little Home picture beside the name was the home page.

However when I start my site it goes to something else.  It was going to a page called “.”  (yes just DOT), so I deleted that page and now it compiles the site each time and then says IE cannot display page.

I thought it might be a splash page so I deleted Splash_it.htm

HELP!!!!!!

Hi Joel,

Firstly, you are posting your question in the Events Module forum, please post in the correct forum in future.

To answer your question go to Admin > Site Settings > Advanced Settings and set the Home Page to the page you want to display as the landing page.

And while you're in Site Settings, make sure that Splash Page is set to None Specified.
