We are trying to install DNN 07.00.06 on Windows 2012 and IIS 8 and getting the following error.

Module    IIS Web Core
Notification    BeginRequest
Handler    Not yet determined
Error Code    0x80070021
Config Error    This configuration section cannot be used at this path. This happens when the section is locked at a parent level. Locking is either by default (overrideModeDefault="Deny"), or set explicitly by a location tag with overrideMode="Deny" or the legacy allowOverride="false".
Config File    \\?\C:\Websites\DNN\web.config

 88: </modules>
89: <handlers>
90: <remove name="WebServiceHandlerFactory-Integrated"/>

Any ideas on resolving this?

Thanks,
Madhu.

please make sure to install DNN in the root of your IIS website.
Besides, the server admin might have locked down some features, you might need to contact your hosting provider.
