I strongly suggest placing your website into c:\inetpub\portal-callegari.local, otherwise you may need additional security settings for file system. Make sure to grant full permission to the ASP.Net user, that is configured in advanced settings of the IIS Application pool being used.

Victor,

considering the application pool you use is called "DNNAppPool", then you need to assign modify permissions to the whole directory structure under "C:\websites\portal-callegari.local" to a user named "IIS AppPool\DNNAppPool". This user should also have db_owner permissions in the database.

In IIS Management Console, go to the web site, double click Authentication and select "Anonymous Authentication". Click "Edit..." on the right pane and change the identity to "Application Pool Identity" then. Also check the Identity in the settings of the application pool, this should be "ApplicationPoolIdentity".

Sometimes this does not work under Windows 7. Then change the identity in the application pool settings to "Network Service", and assign the permissions mentioned above to that user (NT AUTHORITY\Network Service or something similar) in the file system and the database.

Best wishes
Michael
