Hello all,

So here's the situation. So I've installed DNN on a virtual machine via Remote Desktop and it went well. Local to the vm, I can go to dnndev.me and access the DNN installation fine, keyword being local.

Here's where it gets tricky. Another developer and I have local installations of DNN on our personal machines, but we both want to be able to access the DNN installation on the VM. Obviously going to dnndev.me would take me to my local installation. It doesn't seem as easy as adding an additional binding or something (or at least I don't think so), so what's the trick?

You can add a new binding in IIS, but you'll also have to have the DNS setup for that on your local machines. You will also need to add that as a Portal Alias in DNN.

You could also modify your HOSTS file locally to point DNNDEV.me to that external server
