I wanted to mention I had run into this with DNN 7.2.1 recently. We were moving the website from the development environment to the production environment and some parts of the website started to fail to work like the Host Settings, Admin Settings, DAM, etc. Running in any trust above Medium is not an option for us so I dug into it more. I discovered the development website had .NET 4.5.1 installed and the production system had .NET 4.5.0 on it. Upgrading the production system to use .NET 4.5.1 fixed the errors and allowed the website to function correctly under Medium trust again.
