Hi Everyone,

I'm able to configure DNN 7.1.1 to my local machine. From IIS manager I'm able to access demo site but when i open that in vs2012 (using SQL Server 2012) and open default.aspx in browser it navigate to an "Error Page" and i check the error from logs that Portal Settings is set to null and the code try to access it so generating Exception.Even i have not done any thing with configuration and code (using code zipped with downloaded zip of DNN 7.01.01)

Thanks for your valuable time for answering my question in advance.

if you want to work with DNN in vs.net you have a few options. You can simply ensure that the site is running in debug mode in web.config and then open it via "open website" in vs.net and use that to set breakpoints and then use debug->attach to process to attach to the running site. Alternatively, if you need to debug through DNN code, you can use a source version , see http://www.dnnsoftware.com/wiki/page/...
