Hello -- we just finished installing DNN on Windows 2008.  After we click finish and it loads the Default.aspx page, it seems to be attempting to show the LOGIN.ASPX page but instead says:

Server Error in '/' Application
The resource cannot be found. 

Description: HTTP 404. The resource you are looking for (or one of its dependencies) could have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.  Please review the following URL and make sure that it is spelled correctly. 

Requested URL: /Login.aspx

I've never had an issue like this -- can anyone shed any light on where to start troubleshooting this??

this happens if you are running on a windows 2008 server that is not fully patched - they do not understand "extensionless" urls such as mysite.com/login - installing http://support.microsoft.com/kb/980368 (or using a more recent windows server) will resolve this

I would still suggest running the hotfix, the Microsoft documentation is frustratingly vague and doesn't list if it's included in a service pack or bundled with other updates (in fact some pages simply say "some" windows 2008 require the hotfix, implying that others don't)
