After I made Auto - DNN installation - am facing  - Internal server error 500 on taking the page.

What are the initial steps that I need to make Or what will be the cause ? Database related ? I cant find any logs.... How can i trace this ?

Look in the database at the table called EventLog to see if any errors were stored.

My preference is to set up DNN manually so I know everything that's happening and I suggest you do the same if you can't figure out what happened.

For DNN 7, make suer your website is running in an app pool configured for asp.Net 4 integrated mode and default.aspx is default document.
