We recently upgraded to v7.03.02 and now when we log on we get a critical error and the address bar contains:

I was hoping that doing the upgrade to 7.3.3 would fix it, but when I try the 7.3.3 upgrade it stalls

65% ERROR occured - Installing Provider - FiftyOneClientCapabilityProvider_07.03.02_Install.zip 

 

I am willing to pay someone to help me fix this mess. I am in over my head.

Telerik tweaked how they retrieve "skin" details a few versions back, so they are no longer stored in telerik.web.ui.dll, but are not in Telerik.Web.UI.Skins.dll - the error you see suggests that Telerik.Web.UI.Skins.dll is not there, perhaps during upgrade it was deleted and not then recreated for some reason. As for the FiftyOneClientCapabilityProvider issue, that's most likely caused by incorrect windows permissions i.e the installer attempts to update web.config for FiftyOneClientCapabilityProvider's details but cannot as the user does not have "modify" permissions (e.g. perhaps only add/delete permissions), or else the web.config file is readonly (e.g. if checked out of a source control system such as TFS). Note: if such a permissions issue exists it's likely that is the cause of the telerik issue also
