I'm trying to install DNN 4.3.2 (from the install package) and I continually get the following error during a fresh install:

Server Error in '/dnn' Application.

Could not find stored procedure 'dbo.dnn_GetHostSettings'.

Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code.

Exception Details: System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: Could not find stored procedure 'dbo.dnn_GetHostSettings'.

I'm running a Win2k3 Server and SQL 2000.  The virtual root for the site is under localhost/dnn.  I've also made sure all of the permissions for Network and Network Services and ASP.NET have full access.  I've commented out the connection string for SQL Express in the necessary locations in the web.config file.  Each time I try to run the installer a few tables and sprocs are created in my database.

What am I doing wrong here?  Is this a permissions issue? 

Please help!!!

When I try to install DotNetNuke 4.3.4, I get the error message below. I looked at the database, and it seems that stored procedure 'dbo.dnn_GetHostSettings' actually might not be on the server. I see three other stored procedures that start with 'dbo_dnn_', but not 'dbo.dnn_GetHostSettings'.

Is it possible that my Web host hasn't installed this, or is there something wrong with my settings? I wrote to tech support at my Web host, but they had to escalate it to the Windows System Administrator so I haven't heard back yet.

Server Error in '/DotNetNuke' Application.

Could not find stored procedure 'dbo.dnn_GetHostSettings'.

Use 4.3.4, this is the latest release and there are some security issues that are fixed.  It is recommended that all DNN users should upgrade to 4.3.4.

The guy who posted the original message was using 4.3.2. I am using 4.3.4, and I still have this problem!

Please help. I'm desperate.

Hi i've go the same problem. I create this stored procedure 'dbo.dnn_GetHostSettings'. The installation then starts and everthings look ok.
