Hi,

I updated my dnn website from 7.1.1 to 7.3.4. When i logged into the website as super user the newsletter window popups. for some reason i couldn't stop this. Can anybody help me resolve this?

If you check the box does it go away?

I Tried doing that..Still have same problem.. it just reloads the page and always popups newsletter

You can contact your hosting company and ask them for help. I've hosted my DNN site with Host4ASP.NET for about 3 months and I also have met some issues. When I met any issue, I contact the host4asp.net support team and ask for help from their technical support team. Each time, I can get answer to resolve my issue. It is a much more efficient way to turn to your web host instead of waiting answer from other users.

Hi!

@Jack J: this might be correct if there are people in your hosting company that know how DNN works.

Anyway: The setting if the popup appears or not is defined in the web.config file, so you can easily change it by adding the following to the AppSettings section:

<EnableGettingStartedPage>False</EnableGettingStartedPage>
