which liveID Provider are you using? make sure to install appropriate Version (rename package in /install/Provider to .zip and browse /install/install.aspx?mode=installresources)

Did you unblock the zip file before the upgrade?

All,

Thanks for all of the suggestions.  However, I have two questions:

1. For some reason during the install, all of the login configurations were set as true in the database in the Authentication talbe.  I updated that table to set all authentication modes, except DNN to false.  Restarted the webserver and now all appears to be fine.

2. I am not able to access the Site Settings capability.  So the question is, do the administrative and host functions require Razor scrupts to be installed.  At the time of installation, I had the 2.0 Net Framework indicated, subsequently, I changed the Net Framework  to 4.0.  So, how do I install the 4.0 Razor scripts?  Is there any harm in re-installing only the Razor scripts?

Regards
Hans

Razor is not required, neither for DNN 6 nor 7
What is the error message you get?
if you switch to .Net 4, you need to execute the merge script inside a subfolder in /install:
- go to Host > Configuration Editor
- load Web.config file
- beneath, load .net40 as merge script and apply.

Sebastian Leupold
