Hi,
The Older Graphical User Interface of DNN 05.06.02 was very simple but many new modules that developers are releasing nowadays don't support DNN 05.06.02 anymore. If there is a way to upgrade DNN 05.06.02 and add the option to enable the older GUI (Graphical User Interface).

There should be a way to have backwards compatibility with DNN 05.06.02 and the newer DNN versions. I tried doing an upgrade before but won't work. Plus I really like the Older Graphical User Interface of DNN 05.06.02. I hope DNN finds a way to add backwards compatibility soon for DNN 05.06.02 that adds the option to enable the Older Graphical User Interface of DNN 05.06.02.

there are some changes in Default.css, which might require modifications on the Skin you are using.
The RibbonBar control panel is still included, but has a couple of issues in DNN 7 - I suggest using Advanced Control Panel from www.oliverhine.com instead.

You also may turn off popups in Admin > Site Settings, if you experience issues or prefer inline modifications.

Thanks for pointing out about Default.css. Advanced Control Panel is exactly what I'm looking for. Do you know how to remove the horrible Telerik AjaxPanel loading control in DNN completely?

Oliver is working to remove Telerik from the DNN Platform Distribution, which DNN Corp. should be able to pull into version 8.0.0
