Hi All

I want to get my production DNN site to run locally again, so I downloaded all the files to a virtual directory, and get a database backup from the server and install it on my machine.

Every time I try to open the site from localhost it goes online and open the site from the server.

Any advice about what am I missing

Did you modify the web.config to conform with localhost instead of the remote?

You need to add a portalalias with the local address to your portal.
