I just started the process of migrating the content of my DNN6.2 website to DNN9.2.

One of the modules I depend on (Open Web Studio) errors when placing it on a page. Looking into their forums, I am not the only one. However, they say that it works on DNN9.1.1.  I can attach and open the DNN9.2 database's MDF file with SQL Server Mgt Studio (SSMS) V14.0 just fine. I am running SQL server 17.

I installed DNN9.1.1 and went to attach to its MDF database and SSMS gives errors and complains about "Full Catalogs".   Are there differences in the requirements for SQL Server or its tools between DNN9.1.1 and DNN9.2?

Are they any notes or posts on how to convert an MDF database into a regular SQL database including what users need to be added when running on Windows 10 and IIS 10?

Any other suggestions are welcome?

MDF is the standard extension for a SQL server database.

I don't think there is any conversion. I think an mdf already is a SQL server database. I would expect there to be a matching ldf file to go with it. That is where SQL server stores its log.
