Hello,

I've cloned the source code from some working modules but for some reason I'm getting the error described in the title, I don't think I'm missing any references since I downloaded depnedencies from the Nuget Package Manager.

The module was created from Cristoc Templates and the error appears in the Edit.ascx file.

I´ve added using DotNetNuke.Services.Localization; to my CodeBehind(Edit.ascx.cs) but is listed as unnecessary by Visual Studio. Do I need to put the files in a specific location? What can cause this error?

Make sure the App_LocalResources folder for your module contains the appropriate resource file with translations. Yours would be named something like "Edit.ascx.resx"

Hi,

Thanks for the reply, but I doubt it has anything to do with the resource files Visual Studio is telling me it cannot invoke that method because it doesn´t seem to be recognizing it. I just don´t know which is the missing dependency

Sorry, I misunderstood. I thought you were getting that error at runtime. If you get that error in the Visual Studio Error List when viewing the source code you can just ignore and the Project will still build. It has no effect on building the project and compiling.

Thank you so much for your reply, I´m pretty new to dnn so I was worried that although the solution would build, it would cause trouble later
