Hi,

I have just upgraded from 4.0.3 to 4.3.3 with no problems but I am missing some of the new modules. For example, the online shop and the blog module

When i did a clean 4.3.3 install, not an upgrade, this shop module and a few other new ones were present.

Why haven't these modules installed and is there any way I can install them manually please?

Thanks

Trev

you can always get the latest versions of the modules from their project pages. Go to the downloads page http://www.dotnetnuke.com/tabid/125/default.aspx and click through to the project(s) you require and look at their project downloads.

The upgrade version only upgrades the core, and does not upgrade the modules as they are on independant release schedules. This also means that your users do not see changes unless you decide to let them know e.g. modules such as UDT have substantial UI changes, users should be told they are about to change/retrained, rather than be forced to accept the change when the core is updated.
