Hello,

I try to install DNN version 9.2.2 , first time , during installation on second step I encountered with below error :

" 18% ERROR occurred - System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException (0x80131904): There is already an object named 'Authentication' in the database. "

Before second attempt :

-  I delete database and create new one and new user and mapped to related database

-  I removed source folder and give permission and I delete browser cookies and create new site in iis and select " .Net v4.5 classic " application pool.

But installation process not running .

When I refresh browser it switch between these pages ( 1. http://localhost:2323/Install/InstallWizard.aspx

2. http://localhost:2323/Login.aspx?ReturnUrl=%2fInstall%2fInstallWizard.aspx )

How can I solve this problem ?

Shahab,

don't use .Net 4.5 Classic - DNN needs the integrated pipeline mode, therefore use the ".Net v4.5" app pool or create a new app pool using integrated pipeline mode.

When the SQL Server is running on the same machine or in the same domain, it is recommended to use integrated authentication on the SQL Server instead of SQL Server authentication. On the same machine, you can add a login for the app pool (IIS AppPool\[AppPoolName], eg. IIS AppPool\.Net v4.5). In the same domain, you can use the computer account of the web server (DOMAIN\ComputerName$, e.g. COMPANY\WEBSERVER$). During the installation, you have to add the db_owner role to this user.

Happy DNNing!
