Hi there,

I've tried twice to upgrade from 3.0.1 to 4.3 with no luck. After unziping the files I would get the .Net server error page. Custom erros was turned off but I still wouldn't get the specific error message but this generic .Net error page. In the database the version continued to be 3.0.1 and also in the install\dnn.config file.  The ASP membership tables were created in the database though.

I rolled back everything and went on to upgrade from 3.0.1 to 3.3. This time everything works like a charm.

But I want to make the jump to 4.x. Is the migration from 3.3 to 4.3 just like any other migration or is there anything special that needs to happen? I know I'm not giving too much details about the error (I didn't get any details) but what could have gone wrong in my two failed attempts to upgrade from 3.0.1?

Thanks
