i managed to install dotnetnuke on my own server with no problems (DNN3)

Now i got webhosting and i'm trying to install it on there....But i can't. Is there any different between hosting DNN on my own server then on a webhosting accound elsewere? Just not working..and i took this host with ASP installed just for dotnetnuke:(

can anybody tell what the differences are?

Hello cabster,

you must have write rights for the networkservice and aspmember to the dnn folder. And then you must have to make the contection strings to the database.  For mor infomation we need more info what the erro messege is.

Regards

Matthias
