I have been playing around with DNN for about a month now and all of the portals are now working quite nicely.

Basically though, from a newbie perspective, there were many issues which were encounted which were not particularly well documented.

A few friends are have been messing around with DNN, as such I have been keeping track of things that I have encountered to help them out if they have the same issues.

As such this basic (written for and by newbies) guide may be of use to some people who have very little experience and are running into some frustrating problems.
