I just updated a v3.3.3 site to v3.3.4  by copying the new files over the top of the old files and updating the appropriate web.config lines (connection strings & and encryption keys). When I go to the site the first time (mode=install) the upgrade starts then stops almost immediately with the following error:

Parameter count does not match Parameter Value count

The stack trace is:

Any ideas why the upgrade didn't work?

I have exactly the same problem, and I updated a 3.2.2 site to 3.3.4. I modified the code to ignore the exception (see original post) but now UpdateDatabaseVersion fails with exactly the same error.

Any idears why this happens?
