I'm a newbie to dnn and hope that one of you, the experienced dnn users may be able to help me.

I "successfully" installed dnn on my host 1and1.  Successfully means that the site comes up but all image, css and js file paths are off by one subdirectory.  I believe I know why but am not certain how to fix it since I am also new to asp .net (I am experienced with programming and asp in general).

Anyway, my host allows me to host multiple sites.

I have www.hotzonline.com pointed to subdirectory hotzbase off of the root.  Dnn is installed in hotzbase.  When I hit my site all of the images display the proverbial x icon for missing image appears.  In viewing the html I see that the links all point to /hotzbase/someimagepath/someimagename.ext . I did a quick test and verified that by removing the /hotzbase, the missing items loaded correctly.  I believe it is pulling the full path using mappath(?) but am not certain how to either override or correct this (web config??).  I greatly appreciate any help that you can provide.

Thank you!

I finally figured it out.  It turns out that I just needed to point my domain name to / rather than /hotzbase.  Hopefully, this info will help other 1and1 customers experiencing similar problems.
