So on another server I do a fresh install of DNN 4.3.4 and most of the modules won't install. I delete the database a few times and fiddle around with the same results.

Searching here in the forums, I didn't find the same problem, but I found a nifty little trick that solved the problem:

1) Copy all the PAs to the /Install/Module folder
2) Run http://site//install/install.aspx?mode=installResources

All the modules then install properly.

So anyways, there's a heads up in case anyone else has the same problem.

Cheers,

Ryan

For a DNN newbie, what are "PAs" and where do I find them?  I think I might be hitting the same issue.

Thanks,

Jordan

Did you copy release.config to web.config for this fresh install and then change the web.config settings?

DNN adds an installation date to web.config which may have an effect on this behavior.
