Hi ,

Well

  • I do a "difficult" upgrade from 4.03 to 4.34 since I had an error in the new web.config.

Something like : 38 DotNetNuke Upgrade Error -The Assembly Version ( [ASSEMBLYVERSION] ) does not match the Database Version ( [DATABASEVERSION] ) -

  • I corrected the web.config, delete in the table Version the lines for the last upgrade, and restart the install process => upgrade complete, starting the site and reading it is OK.
  • Problems appears when I want to log in as host or admin ==> I got a critical Error
Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

Do you have any idea how to recover that ?

Tank you very much,

LM

NB key="MachineValidationKey"  is ok

Try registering as a new user. If you can log on with that then you can open the "Users" table in your database and change the IsSuperUser setting from false to true. The next time you log on with your new account should give you host and admin settings.
