ok....some changes but still cant install....i downloaded the new dnn version.

pointing to a local sql server 2000 sp4?

The problem i get now is it keeps trying to use a web.config file under the C:\WINNT\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\Config\web.config???

i do have both .net framework 1.1 and 2.0...lastest and greatest, does that matter?

I have also tryied to use the installer and no good...i cant even see why or where i fails...i've looked in the setup.log and it doesnt really help. this shouldnt be this hard to install

i had this installed before with an older version and i wanted to see what this new version was but if im goin to have this many issues and no replys or support...then i need to start looking for something else....
