Hi DNN Community,

I'm trying to set up a DNN 4.3.5 ond my Windows 2003 Server (with SQL 2000).

Because of some other Problems I've created a new Application Pool referencing to the local system.

Now allways when I try to install I get the "Object reference not set to an instance of an object." Error with the hint I should give the NETWORK SERVICE the NTFS rights. But this doesn't help. I think the reason must be in the Application Pool which refers to the Local System and not to the Network Service. The IIS_WPG Group has rights on the Virtual Directory, to the Temp Folder and to the .NET Framework Folder.

Does anyone have an idea where the problem could come from?

With Greetings
