Hello,

I'm testing an upgrade from 3.2.2 to 4.3.5.  I've used the 4.3.5 Upgrade package.  Everything seemed to have been smooth.  I've upgraded all of the additional modules and tested.  Everything looks great.  But when going to HOST - PORTALS my Export Template module gets the following error.

Error: Export Template is currently unavailable.
DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: D:\websites\dnn-test-replace\www.DotNetNuke.com\Admin\Portal\Template.ascx.vb(176): error BC30560: 'ZipOutputStream' is ambiguous in the namespace 'ICSharpCode.SharpZipLib.Zip'. ---> System.Web.HttpCompileException: D:\websites\dnn-test-replace\www.DotNetNuke.com\Admin\Portal\Template.ascx.vb(176): error BC30560: 'ZipOutputStream' is ambiguous in the namespace 'ICSharpCode.SharpZipLib.Zip'. at System.Web.Compilation.BuildManager.PostProcessFoundBuildResult(BuildResult result, Boolean keyFromVPP, VirtualPath virtualPath) at System.Web.Compilation.BuildManager.GetBuildResultFromCacheInternal(String cacheKey, Boolean keyFromVPP, VirtualPath virtualPath, Int64 hashCode) at System.Web.Compilation.BuildManager.GetVPathBuildResultFromCacheInternal(VirtualPath virtualPath) at System.Web.Compilation.BuildManager.GetVPathBuildResultInternal(VirtualPath virtualPath, Boolean noBuild, Boolean allowCrossApp, Boolean allowBuildInPrecompile) at System.Web.Compilation.BuildManager.GetVPathBuildResultWithNoAssert(HttpContext context, VirtualPath virtualPath, Boolean noBuild, Boolean allowCrossApp, Boolean allowBuildInPrecompile) at System.Web.UI.TemplateControl.LoadControl(VirtualPath virtualPath) at System.Web.UI.TemplateControl.LoadControl(String virtualPath) at DotNetNuke.UI.Skins.Skin.InjectModule(Control objPane, ModuleInfo objModule, PortalSettings PortalSettings) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

Could someone please help me with it?  I see that it's saying the ZipOutputStrem is ambigous in the ICSharpCode.SharpZipLib.Zip, but really, I don't know what that means.

thanks for your time

Did you ever get an answer to this? I'm getting this error:

Error: Export Template is currently unavailable.
DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: Exception of type 'System.OutOfMemoryException' was thrown. ---> System.OutOfMemoryException: Exception of type 'System.OutOfMemoryException' was thrown. at DotNetNuke.Common.Utilities.FileSystemUtils.AddToZip(ZipOutputStream& ZipFile, String filePath, String fileName, String folder) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.PortalManagement.Template.SerializeFiles(XmlDocument xmlTemplate, XmlNode nodeFiles, PortalInfo objportal, String folderPath, ZipOutputStream& zipFile) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.PortalManagement.Template.SerializeFolders(XmlDocument xmlTemplate, XmlNode nodeFolders, PortalInfo objportal, ZipOutputStream& zipFile) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.PortalManagement.Template.cmdExport_Click(Object sender, EventArgs e) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

Is there some setting in web.config or some other fix?

I guess you can't upgrade from 3.xxx to 4.xxx??  Some post in here led me to that information.  Sorry I don't have the thread with me.  So I basically just upgraded from 3.2.2 to 3.3.5 and am running with that.

Sorry, but that's the best I've got.

I'm running DNN 4.3.5.

I solved it. The problem was that I had a large number of big files in the file system. I temporarily removed them, and the template was created without a hitch.
