I'm new to the game but willing and  now looking for some help.

I'm using XP Pro SP2, SQL server 2005 and just configed DNN 4.3.5 install zip.

All seemed to go well and finished the process of configuration. Opened IE and Http://localhost/dotnetnuke

Received the following error.

It seems i have a permission error. anyone's help would be appreciated

What happens when you type http://localhost or http://machine_name?

Hi,

When I use both LH and machine name addresses it loads my web server splash page. /localstart.asp

Your question made my think about my config.

I have resolved the issue. My server was defalting to version ASP.NET 1.1. once i changed to version 2.0 DNN completed its install. Success!!
