Hello people, I'm having an issue with a fresh install. Server is a Windows 2003 R2 (64 bit) machine. Just performed a fresh install of the OS, and then a fresh install of SQL Server 2005 (64 bit as well). That all went fine. Now I'm trying to install dotnetnuke and it's kicking out this error (below) when I try to access the page (using http://localhost/virtualdirectoryname). Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong? If I set the permissions on the folder to Everyone having full access, it kicks back with a slightly different message (saying Page cannot be found). Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks,

I finally got the installer to work (kinda) using the Visual Web Developer 2005 thingy (using SQL Express 2005 now). It works fine on port 2243 with VWD running. With/without VWD running, if i try to access localhost/sitename (the sitename being the name of the virutal directory i set up in IIS admin), it gives the error i mentioned above. Someone must have come across this problem before? I've set up the portal aliases also btw, so 'localhost/sitename' is in there.

I am getting the same page error when accessing the folder. I am using: Windows 2000/IIS 5. Dotnetnuke version 4.3.5 Install.zip

I already did Set File Permissions according to Installation Guide page 12...
Maybe I skipped a step or two?

Please help, thanks.
